"GIGGS"

Meet our "home bred" AKC CHAMPION!!!!  Starting at Bryn Mawr with a best of breed at 6 months of age and finishing in Catonsville MD with another BOB at 10 months old.  He also swept the Massachusetts Boston Specialty show in October with 4 point majors both days!  Our true "homebred" boy did all this in just 12 total shows and most of it in the bred by classes.  Giggs is our Toppers grandson and is a result of our trusted "old" line combined with the "San Jo" and "Kennedy" lines.  Our special thanks to RANDIE MARKER who helped me train him properly (she is THE BEST trainer of dogs and people) and also to PATTY SULZBERGER who handled him at some of the bigger shows and did an excellent job!  I would also like to thank all of the wonderful "Boston" people I met at all the shows who gave me renewed faith-- that when you have a GREAT dog--- judges WILL notice.   Their encouragement was much appreciated!  Giggs is going great guns as a FINE stud!  He improves his puppies and really stamps most of them with his signature good looks and winning personaility. He and my young son Michael have become a real team and are showing breed AND agility!  I am not surprised that Giggs is a "natural" at agility.

JASPER JET  SB OF WINDY RIDGE

Jasper is our "little" Boston stud.  He weighs 12 lbs soaking wet but is refined and a beautiful brindle.. We feel he is a great addition to our carefully planned line as he can "downsize" puppies born to larger girls... and has already proven this in several select breedings to "Topper" girls.  His disposition is excellent and he passes this to his puppies.  Jasper found the show ring not to his liking and rather than "push" him , we decided to retire him from showing and let him have a selective breeding career to the right girls...

CH VON DRAPERS TOP HAT N TUX

Our "Topper" is the pride of our breeding program!   TOPPER is the son of the top Boston in the country two years running (2007 and 2008) --the great CH TUXEDO BOWS...He is "Gigg's" grandfather and we really feel  Giggs got his best qualities from BOTH his grandfathers (the other one is CH SAN JO'S KEEPER OF THE PEACE) in looks and disposition.   Toppers accomplishments are many... He finished at  the age of 9 months and had a pretty good run in the "special" ring.( my goal here is not to "special" all my dogs or to rank them.. but to have a great time showing them to their championships)   He is more or less retired from showing, although I plan to take him out now and then as a veteran. He is 8 years old now.. .(showing for me is all about FUN for myself and the dogs) .His pedigree is stellar--he goes to the "Kennedy" line and has NO inbreeding  at all... which makes the line HEALTHY as well as beautiful.   Topper has sired MANY excellent puppies, some who are showing  (and of course winning) and best of all... many who are now treasured, great looking pets for many people..  Toppers best quality is his adorable personality.  He is one of the sweetest, most loving dogs I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.. He never met a person OR a dog he did not like. He spends his days hanging out with the younger dogs.. some now his GREAT grandchildren..and showing them the ropes and going with ME anywhere it is that I go... Breedings to him are to approved females only  and his breeding career is winding down, even tho he is still very potent.

MAGOO

CH MAR-CREST'S OBLIVIOUS MR MAGOO

Our sweet Magoo finished his championship at the Phildelphia National dog show in November (2010) ! He finished with 3 majors and 16 points and started his specials career with a best of breed at Chambersburg December 11th! He is now well on his way to his GRAND championship!   Our special thanks to Patty Sultzberger for handling him to his championship and her great affection for our Magoo. Magoo now has put several litters on the ground and we are very pleased with the puppies. UPDATE:  Magoo is going to grace the ring at the WESTMINSTER DOG SHOW, NYC..in February (2012) ! This will be a first for us and we are very excited, no matter what the outcome! Patty will be handling him, but he will have a crew of well wishers ring side for sure!

Magoo is now specialing and he is well on his way to his Grand championship--pictured below is his latest win with Patty in Virginia in late January!

Another one of MAGOO's wins... In June at Bryn Mawr!  Patty and Magoo make a GREAT team!

Meet "Stormy" - - Magoo's lovely son and Topper's grandson! Although he is a gawky teenager right now, we think he has what it takes to mature into a great boy. He is owned by my partner Gid, but his show career will be a group effort.
